Terms & conditions
The rules that govern ordering, payment, delivery, returns and refunds at Jöns. By placing an order you accept these terms.
Who you are buying from
This store is operated from the State of Kuwait. Our trade name, commercial registration number and contact details are shown in the footer of every page, as required of digital commerce providers in Kuwait.
These terms form a binding contract between you and us the moment we accept your order. They are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait — including Decree-Law No. 10 of 2026 regulating digital commerce, the Consumer Protection Law No. 39 of 2014 and the Electronic Transactions Law No. 20 of 2014 — and any dispute falls to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kuwaiti courts.
Ordering
An order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we accept it and confirm the order to you. Until then we may decline it — for example if a product has sold out, if the address falls outside the areas we serve, or if we cannot verify a payment.
Every product page states what you are buying. Prices are shown in Kuwaiti Dinars and the checkout shows the final amount, including the delivery fee and any cash handling charge, before you confirm. We may correct an obvious pricing or product error and cancel the affected order before dispatch, refunding anything already paid.
Payment
We accept the payment methods offered at checkout. Card and KNET payments are processed by a payment services provider licensed by the Central Bank of Kuwait; we never store your card details. Where a cash-on-delivery charge applies, it is shown as a separate line before you place the order.
An electronic invoice is issued in Arabic once the order is concluded, showing the price, all fees, the total, the delivery details and the payment method used.
Delivery
We deliver inside the State of Kuwait only, to the areas listed at checkout. The delivery fee and estimated time for your area are shown before you pay. Estimated times are estimates, not guarantees; if we expect to miss one materially we will contact you.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please check your order when it arrives and tell us straight away if anything is missing, damaged or not what you ordered.
Returns, exchange and cancellation
Kuwaiti law gives a consumer the right to withdraw from a contract concluded electronically within fourteen days of receiving the goods, and to be refunded to the original payment method, provided the goods are returned in their original condition and at no cost to you.
This right does not apply to every product. By law it excludes perishable goods, and goods that cannot be returned once opened or unsealed for reasons of health, hygiene or product safety. Where an item you ordered falls into one of these categories, it is not eligible for return once delivered, whether or not you have opened it.
Our current returns policy — whether returns are accepted, the window that applies and how a refund is issued — is stated at the top of this page and repeated at checkout and in your order confirmation. Nothing in these terms removes a right the law gives you.
To start a return or report a problem, contact us using the details in the footer. We keep a record of every complaint for at least six months.
Your information
The details you give us are used to fulfil your order and to contact you about it. How we handle personal data, and the rights you have over it, are set out in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and the version published here is the one that applies to orders placed after that date.
